If you enjoy fishing, you'll love Whitlock Bay. Located on the Missouri River's beautiful Lake Oahe, just minutes West of the Sage Motel, Whitlock Bay will lure you with amazing fishing (Northern Pike, Walleye, Salmon, Catfish, and Bass) and great water activities.

Other area attractions include Mysterious Medicine Rock and the Dakota Sunset Museum. Gettysburg Country Club is located just North of the motel. The Country Club offers 9 holes, grass greens, and a comfortable clubhouse.

West Whitlock Recreation Area, which is 18 miles West of Gettysburg offers a swimming beach, a boat ramp, and fish cleaning stations.
